Aluminum is ideal for use as lithographic plate because it is light weight, flexible and recyclable. To manufacture litho plates, aluminum producers have to process cold rolled aluminum alloys series 1000 strips with a thickness within 0.1 up to 0.5 at a high speed.

This includes the engineering, design and supply of all necessary items as coils management or coils transport between lines, entry inspection, double unwinders, complete strip motion of the line including loopers, bridles, steering units but also key equipment as alkaline cleaning section, pure stretch levelflex in line inspection.
