Strip Cleaning Device

For sensitive materials cleaning of the strip or some key equipment which are in contact with the strip is one important.

Depending on the strip pollution as oil, durst, we can provide different strip cleaning devices from a simple static felt press, or movable felt applicator, up to a complete system with smooth brushes, compressed air in dry or wet cleaning process.

We also provide different solutions to clean the key equipment of our Stretch Bend Leveling Lines.

The cassettes which are flexing the strip with several rolls can be polluted by the strip. The bridle rolls are in contact also with the strip with a high tension. They can be damaged by the strip if the strip is not cleaned enough.

Different solutions can be provided for fixing this issue which could create damages on the strip:

• On the leveler

A spraying device which during the process applies on both sides of the strip an evanescent oil limits the pollution of the cassette.
A crocodile opening of the leveler has been designed for many years to help the operator for manual cleaning of the rolls.
Another solution as our new patented automatic cleaning device makes this task fully automatic.

• On the bridle rolls

We provide doctor blade or felt cleaners to clean the bridle rolls automatically.
